Two player games, one device

One screen.
Two players.

GamesDuo makes tiny games for two people sitting next to each other. One key each on a shared keyboard, or one thumb each on a shared phone. A round takes seconds.

Loop Race

Player 1

0 : 0

Bot

Press Start. You are the yellow side.

Mash A to lap the loop twice. Got company? Switch to 2 players and hand them L.

How it works

Same sofa. Same screen. Different sides.

  1. 01

    Sit side by side

One laptop or one phone lying flat between you. Nothing to install and nobody signs in.

  2. 02

    Take a side

Player 1 gets the A key or the left pad. Player 2 gets the L key or the right pad. That is every control there is.

  3. 03

    Hit Rematch

A round is over in seconds and the score stays on screen. The loser always wants one more.

Read the five duo rules

Built for the two of you, not for a lobby.

Rounds in seconds

The longest game here runs about twenty seconds. Short enough for the kettle.

One button each

No tutorial and no settings screen. If you can find one key, you can play.

Two thumbs, one phone

Each side of the screen is a big pad. Both can be pressed at the same moment.

A bot when you are alone

Nobody around? Player 2 turns into a bot that taps at a steady, beatable pace.

Nothing to download

The games are a few kilobytes of code on a web page. Open the page and play.

Nothing is kept

No account, no cookies, no leaderboard. The score lives in the tab and goes when you close it.

Three to play. Three on the way.

Before you sit down

How do you play two player games on one keyboard?

Each player gets one key at opposite ends of the keyboard: A for player 1 and L for player 2. Your hands never cross, and both keys can be pressed at the same time.

Do the games work on a phone?

Yes. Lay the phone flat between you. The yellow pad on the left is player 1 and the pink pad on the right is player 2.

Is GamesDuo free?

The three games on the site are free to play in the browser. There is nothing to buy and no account to make.

Grab someone. Take a side.

One screen. Two players. Best of three takes about a minute.
